I Can Read! #2: The Snake Eats Eggs

Many factors affect whether children learn to read. A key factor is: Do they want to read? If they've never seen anything interesting to read, then probably they don't want to learn.

We're giving them reasons to read. When they finish this book, children will have learned only about a quarter of the Lao letters, but they can look at photos, and read some carefully-constructed sentences, about fascinating sea animals such as anemones, flying fish, and clownfish (known as "Nemo fish" in Lao).
