Kidnapped

David Balfour lives in the lowlands of 18th-century Scotland. When his father dies, he sets out to find his fortune.

But in true adventure-story form, his uncle has David kidnapped and put on a ship to America to become slave labor. There's a rebellion on the ship, then it sinks, and still David's adventures have only barely begun.

As we get more young people in Laos eager to read, they're ready for longer books. This Lao version of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic adventure story will keep them on the edge of their seats.
