We feel privileged

Book sponsorships pay most, but not all, of the cost of creating and printing a book. That helps us keep prices low, for schools, for visitors, and the growing number of Lao people who have enough income to consider buying a low-priced book. We asked sponsors to tell us why they decided to do so.

Like just about everyone who works at Big Brother Mouse, or supports it from afar, Brian and Gerry believe that books are special. By the end of 2011, they had sponsored three books.

Photo of sponsor After visits to Luang Prabang and BBM's headquarters we were able to appreciate first hand the excellent work being done. As we have the good fortune to be able to help, we decided sponsoring books was the best way we could contribute to this wonderful organisation and the country and people we've grown to love. We feel privileged to be able to sponsor books for young people in Laos through BBM.
