A Lue girl
Arpo waters the flowers, plays with friends, and goes to school. This picture book shows daily life in a Lao village. It different from most villages in one way: One day each week, students dress in the traditional style of their ethnic group, and we chose that day to take our photographs.
While it is enjoyed by many ages and ethnic groups, this book is particularly intended to help young Lue children as they learn to read, and who will particularly enjoy having a book about their group.
