Monkeys, ducks, and some very funny birds
Ducks are funny. And in Lao, they're a bit tricky. The Lao word for 'duck' combines two vowels that children have already learned, to create a third sound. That's why we don't introduce it until book 3 of our 'I Can Read' series.
After they finish that book, children can solidify their skills before moving on, with these fun cartoons and captions about high-kicking monkeys, high-flying ducks, and a talented snake.
